THE BROUGHTON BANNERS

At the turn of the Millennium and to mark the event every group and club in the village collaborated to make the Broughton Banners.

 

There are 15 in all made of silk cloth and hand painted by their individual creators.

 

They were paraded through the village in the summer of 2000 and reflect the diversity of community spirit of today’s village.
